Anson Jones is a 20-year-old boy who thrives on his passion for sports and works hard daily to achieve his dreams. Anson was born and raised in South Florida, where he continues to live, study, and work. He currently works at a restaurant in Jupiter, Florida, as a server. He began working here after graduating high school in 2023 and worked his way up the chain from busser to server over the last few years at the establishment. He is very skilled in his position as he has spent a lot of time doing it.
He is constantly working hard to save and provide for himself in order to set himself up for success later. Besides work, he loves spending time with his family. He has three younger siblings, three dogs, and two cats! It seems to be a lot of fun with the Jones family. He is the oldest, and this shows through his reliability and ambitious tendencies.
A huge interest of Anson’s is sports! He is a huge fan of the Miami Heat, Dolphins, Panthers, Marlins, and Florida Gators! He loves to support his local teams, even when they don’t perform well. He will always be a loyal fan.
His love for sports spreads into his use of social media. He makes posts on TikTok capturing his thoughts on different team moves, games, players, etc. All things sports! Just this past year, he travelled to California and Denver to watch the Heat play in three different arenas, and he posted all his travels on his TikTok page. What was pretty interesting about this is that the Miami Heat saw his videos and bought him tickets and brought him down to the court for the Denver game.
Overall, his love for all sports, especially basketball and football, has been strong since day one.
Anson is currently studying finance at Florida Atlantic University. He is also considering studying sports communications to look into future career opportunities and how he can incorporate his passion into a career he truly enjoys. He plans to graduate by the Spring of 2027, as he began in 2023. In the meantime, he is constantly working and planning his future and his desires. He even mentions owning his own business and being able to work for himself one day after gaining some more knowledge and experience. Even though he has stronger interests in sports communication, he decided to focus more on finance as he believes it is crucial information for himself, no matter what. Whether he pursues a finance-focused career or not, this is information that will always be needed throughout his life and could be useful in any and every career.
Overall, Anson is a well-rounded person who is working hard every day to follow his passions and find more success. He has a desire to see more of the world and travel all around (especially more sports arenas). He is not sure when or where his next sports destination will be, but he is considering travelling to Seattle for a Florida Panthers game. Crazy!
